Looks:I'll get an avi later. Personality:Hikaru, a very ethical man, was adored by many of the 5th Division members. He was outspoken and bore a rough disposition, but his down-to-earth attitude was one of the reasons why everyone looked up to him. Hikaru treated his fellow company members indiscriminately, regardless of their social standing or rank. Because of this, he was popular among aristocrats and commoners alike within his Division. He was a firm believer in Captain Ukitake's policy on fighting, which consists of two types of combat: 1) The fight to protect life, and 2) The fight to protect honor. Hikaru took it a step further and believed they both end up being the same thing: "Heart." He believed that every time one connected with another, a little bit of "heart" is born between them. He thought of "heart" as not something inside you, but rather what is born whenever you think of, or remember, someone else. He believed that one's "heart" exists in others, and that it remains with his or her comrades even after death. Having held such views, he believed that people should never die alone. Kenji was asleep at the entrance of the advanced training room, the room was cold, making Kenji huddle up for warmth, the hallways were empty and had a faint dripping sound from the pipes that were leaking. He had been sleeping for a few hours, the only reason that he would sleep here and not in his quarters was that...he was trying to get away from the mountain of paperwork that was assigned to him. It was probably important that he did do it, but Kenji had been awake for the past 72 hours, dealing with hollow exterminations, crap from the other captains, and long lectures from the captain commander. The only reason he was able to stay up this long was because Kenji was used to it, he once stayed up for a whole week, in the forest, searching for a pack of hollows with his squad, unfortunately it had turned out that there was no real hollows, just a trick played on him from the captain of division 12, Kalmora Saito. "Don-don't mess with me....I-i'll kill ya...damn idiot...No...N-NO!!....I don't....to....paperwork...", he mumbled in his sleep.
It was midnight in Soul Society, a full moon dominated the night sky along with little clouds. Kalmora was out at this time, fighting off a very large group of hollows sent out by Genshin. It wasn't a major attack, just...a warning. Originally, Kalmora was collesting diffrent herbs and rocks. It was hard, but they only came out at this time of night...during a full moon. He would have brought some type of lighting, if it weren't for the fact that the plants he was looking for...weren't visible in the light. Kalmora was about ready to call it a night, when the hollows struck. It started with screaming that could be heard throught Seireitei. Most of the Captains kept a hell butterfly near them and gave each other orders based on who could handle the type of situation the best. "Squad 12 will handle it; I'm already in the area...by the time anyone else got here, casualties would be at a high."
A man's voice spoke through the butterfly, the tone told Kalmora it was Gin. "My, you sure are an eager one Kalmora...just do us all a favor and don't get yourself killed. Losing anymore Captains...will only cause a definate loss of the war." he said.
"Probably, but like I said...we've got this." Kalmora waved the butterfly away, and pulled out his katana's. "Surround the entire group, don't let a single one break the circle." he said, eyeing the group. Kalmora noted at least 50 of them...one Menos lurked in the back of the group. Kalmora's squad wasn't the way it used to be, when he first join...they were all a bunch of computer geeks. Now they're a bunch of battle ready computer geeks that kick some serious ass. "I'm not going to interfier with this battle. If I help out my squad members...their pride would be crushed. We've had so little inactivity thanks to the 9th squad handling most of these types of situations. They need this." he thought as he sheathed his swords, turned around, and began heading to the gate. He gave one last look toward his squad, they knew he was leaving...and each and everyone of them, were grinning with satisfaction.
Kalmora turned his attention to the path ahead of him, people began coming out, nodding to him. Afterwards, the people began running toward Kalmora's squad, keeping a safe distance of course, but cheering them on. Kalmora arrived at the gate and waved to the giant, "Good morning, could you please open the gate for me?" he said giving the giant a grin of encouragment.
"Sir, you don't need to ask Sir." said the giant, about to turn around.
"Now now, no need for formality. I may be your superior, but I'm also your friend. No stress." said Kalmora giving him a light elbow tap against the leg. The giant smiled and nodded, lifting the gate..but with struggle. Kalmora hurried through so the giant didn't have to hold it any longer than he already was. The gate slammed behind him and he began walking through the streets of seireitei. "I am going to kill that lazy little twit." he said frowning, a vain coming out on his forehead. Kalmora sighed, looking up into the sky, "Can't blame him though, he's been awfull busy. Might of even passed me now...Wait!? I might be right!" he blurted out, breaking into a run of desperation. "No no no no!" he said. Kalmora lost focus and ran into one of the walls. "Well that hurt.." he said rubbing his nose.
Arriving at the training grounds a few minutes later, Kalmora stared down at Kenji as he rubbed his chin. "Sleeping. Freakin Sleeping. Well, no doubt it's the paper work...but, why not." Kalmora crouched down next to him, and whispered in his ear. "Captain, a new stack of paper work just came in...472 papers need to be signed and responded to. There's also a bill in here from the 12th Division asking you to pay for the buildings you destroyed in Karakura Town...the payment evens out to 476,987 Ryo." he whispered, standing up...waiting for the words to sink in. "Pay backs a bitch!" he thought grinning, holding out a fist infront of him.
Kenji was dreaming, he had the vision of not having to do paperwork, all the hollows dissapearing without any negative effects, maybe even a new enemy to fight, in his dream it was a warm, bright sunny day, with nothing to worry about, he layed, stretched out ontop of his squad's building, drinking some sake. All the squad members walked out and began to welcome him, throwing bottles of sake up for him, so he could relax the whole day, Kenji stood up and made a sligly drunk announcement, "Loyal squad members, thankyou, thankyou, I appreciate all your work, and the sake! heheh, and...one last thing, you guys...you guys are awesome...", he smiled, then fell back over and drank more and more sake. It was a nice dream for him, really, but then, the dream began to crash down, something outside of his dream was ruining it, whether a bug had crawled on him, or whatever the problem, something had began to ruin his dream.
The warm sunny day turned dark and stormy, lightning shot down and killed all of his squad members, all the buildings that once stood tall and gave seiretei its reputation began to melt into a smoldering pile of ooze. The beautiful river that once ran deep through all of soul society, the one that gave the people in rukongai water and resources, even allowed them to wash their clothes, turned into a river of hot lava, burning the residents that were swimming in it, then the worst of all, a giant head appeared high in the sky, grinning evily at Kenji, it was the face of the dreaded one, the one who was forbidden in Kenji's dream land, Kalmora Saito. The evil head of Kalmora began to laugh and say horrid..horrid things, he taunted Kenji about paperwork, payments, and alot of them too, "Please! No!! Why me!!", Kenji screamed out in desperation, then Kenji's dream finally shatterd into a million pieces, causing Kenji to wake up in a cold sweat.
Kenji shot up, to find Kalmora next to him with his usual evil grin, he looked around, he was in his original spot, he had obtained no injuries and as far as he could tell, Kalmora had'nt experimented in his sleep, so he moved right on to the anger stage. "Why....the hell...did you decide to wake ME up for something I DID'NT EVEN DO!", he shouted, while standing up and getting in Kalmora's face, he then could'nt think of anything to do, or say, so he looked to his left, to his right, behind him, then back at Kalmora and sent a punch straight for Kalmora's gut.
Kalmora was laughing when Kenji woke, his face was priceless. So was the punch in the gut...Kalmora hit the floor holding his gut, squirming. "Ow ow ow!" he shouted rolling back and forth. His cries of pain, soon turned to laughter. "You never change, ya know?" he said to Kenji, getting back to his feet. Kalmora ran his fingers through his hair and grinned, "That punch was a little rough, I think I'm getting soft." he said putting his hands to his sides and slouching. Kalmora walked to the entrance of the doorway, sat down, and put his foor against the other side. With his face growing a more serious expression, he began to speak. "As of now, everyone in squad 12 except 3rd seat Nemu Kurotsuchi, and Vice-Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi are fighting a group of hollows just outside the the North Gate." he said pulling two parasite looking bugs from one of his pockets, each about 3 feet long.
Kalmora grinned, and tossed one to Kenji. "Wanna test a new invention...? Don't worry, the parasites are harmless. And no, this time the invention won't turn your skin bright pink...or give you pointy ears...or make you lose your hair...And no, It wont make you grow female parts. Those were all flukes that you just happened to get unlucky with." he said tilting his head back, opening his mouth, and sliding the creature in. A slurping sound could be heard that would probably gross most people out, but in seconds...it was gone. Kalmora then stood up, and opened his shinigami clothing, revealing his chest.
"What I just swallowed, was a symbiote...it merges with your nervous system and acts as a secondary life force. If you die, the symbiote initiates a syrum through out your body, sparking a new life force...and thus, resurrects you. The symbiote then dissolves into your digestive system, and leave the body via...you know." he said with a small laugh. Kalmora walked up to Kenji, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I know it works, because I killed myself last night. What i want to test is, if the symbiote can take the strain a full scale fight causes on the body. If you die, and then swallow the symbiote...you'll still be dead. So, if we test this...and it works, I'll be able to take this new invention, and save lives with it. What'dya say bud, will you help me?" he said with a grin.
Kenji caught the symbiote with a squemish look, the symboite was brown, had long pincers, 20 legs, and had a face so ugly it would send a compliment to Kalmora's mother. He looked up at Kalmora, then at the parasite, then back up at Kalmora, "A-are you sure this thing is gonna work I-I mean it looks as if it would kill a Kenpachi...", Kalmora however, was paying no attention to him because he was busy babbling on about how it IS ok and how it ISNT gonna give me some wierd side-effect. Kenji slowly opend his mouth and dropped the parasite in, and that instant, he knew, that it was the most disgusting feeling he had ever experienced, he had failed to completely swallow the parasite, so the parasite took liability to crawl down his throat.
He had felt the parasite move down, without the voluntary actions of his throat, whcih gave Kenji a bad sign that this thing was obviously bad and should probably come with a "Do not consume" label on it. Kenji had thought the worse was over, but he was wrong, after it got out of his esophagus, he had literally felt it plop down in his stomach, splashing his stomach acids and giving him a small stomach ache, but it did'nt last long. Kenji stood up and looked at Kalmora dead in the eye, "This thing had better not kill me, give me wierd side-effects, or stay in my stomach forever, now that that's said, moving on", he turned to the doorway of the training room and gave two simple knocks on the door, which led to a peephole appearing in it, the eye on the other side of the peephole examined them carefully, then slammed the peephole shut and opend the door.
Kenji smiled and turned to Kalmora, "Ya ready?", he asked retorically, with that, he walked inside with a wide smile on his face. As soon as he enterd the room, Kenji let out a loud and deep yawn, while stretching his arms out, he then turned back to Kalmora and pointed at him akwardly, "Since you're here already, why don't we have a little sparring match, I mean, the only other choice you have is to go sit in your lab, or do some paperwork and if there's one thing in common between you and I is that we do Not like paperwork". Kenji then put his hand down and squinted his eyes at Kalmora, Besides...you look worried about something, could it be the fact that you haven's sparred me in over a month and are once again wondering who is in fact the strongest?", after saying that, he stopped squinting, and gave his evil smile.
Kalmora gave a peculier "tilt of the head" and smiled. He held up a finger, closed his eyes, and opened his mouth. "Actually, it could kill a Kenpachi if the symbiote were to break down before you actually die. This would cause extreme pain because the acids contained in the symbiote would cause every system in your body to slowly begind shutting down. Once this happens, you will be immobile and forced to lay there like a vegetable. Then, the symbiote's acide will begin to eat away at your entire body. This proccess is extremly slow, and can last up to an entire month. Trust me, I know." he said scratching his head and frowning.
When "paperwork" was mentioned, Kalmora got another of his goofy grins and pulled out a stack of papers. "No, I have nothing better to do, so why not do my paper work instead of...napping." he said refering to Kenji's most recent case. While Kenji was eyeing the eye in the peep hole, Kalmora was behind him makeing the most retarded faces death godly possibal. When the man opened the door, Kalmora put his hands behind his back, began whistling, and followed Kenji inside. Once he did so, he pulled out a capsule that contained two small black pills, and once again...tossed one to Kenji. "Swallow it." he said popping one of the pills in his mouth. A small pop was heard...then smoke began coming out of Kalmora's ears, nose, and mouth. "It's perfectly okay." he said through watery eyes.
Kalmora's body then began to turn staticy, "This pill has a few effects. One of the effects, transports the other person to any desired place. I figured if me and you were to be fighting...we'll need a place that we can afford to destroy. Like, the mountains or something. The second effect, gives the pills counter part, to decide the place. Meaning, when you eat that pill...we will be transported to whatever place is on your mind, so be carefull with what you think about." said Kalmora, pulling out both of his katana's. "May the best man win." he said with a creepy look...He'll never get used to that damn grin.
Kenji listend to Kalmora explain the sideeffect of the symbiote breaking down at the incorrect time, Kalmora had stated that it would slowly do something or other with acids and then you would become immobile, then, well Kenji had drifted off after that, he did'nt really care about the pain because, he believed he'd been through more then a silly little parasite could do. So, Kenji used the best of his talents when it comes to Kalmora's dreadfully, dragged out explanations, finding a quick and easy way to completely drown him out, he had'nt done much lately so, all that came to him was the image of a monkey banging two symbals together and laughing, Kenji smiled. The monkey method, was what Kenji was gonna call it and it was suprisingly succesful, and useful while trying to ignore Kalmora, the monkey in his head did a backflip, which made him smile more, but that all ended when Kalmora tossed him a little round pill.
The pill landed directly in his hand, particullary small and looked as though it was just a piece of coal, Kenji looked up at Kalmora, finally paying attention to what he was saying, this did'nt sound too bad, but...he did'nt like what happend to Kalmora. After Kalmora's ears stopped steaming, Kalmora explained the effects, "so you're saying...that this pill can actually allow us to teleport anywhere?", the word 'impossible' came to mind when Kenji instantly though of how many dirty things he could do with this pill at once. "Well, why don't you go ahead and pick a location, I don't think mine would be very suitable and...with my mind, there's a number of places we could end up".
"You made a bad decision when you gave me the right to pick 'any' location." He said with a smile. Kalmora saw Kenji begin to come staticy...and smiled. "I choose, My Inner World." he said with a maniacal laugh. They both began glowing blue, then...vanished. They seemed to drift through time and space itself, each seeing images of the others past. Once they left this zone, they began falling through air, eventually landing on a large flat piece of circular rock. Kalmora stood up, facing Kenji, "Welcome to my inner world. Your in a very sacred place that only I've been too." he said taking a battle stance with his katana's.
"As you can see, were on a very large piece of rock. Surrounding this rock, is a never ending ocean of water with many rock pillars jutting out of it. Theres a trick though...watever happens in your relfection, happens to you. So say I were to slice the water where you arm is...your physical body would be injuried as well. The water also acts as a mirror, so if I cut your right arm in the water, your left are will be cut. If you enter the water, your reflection disapears. When in the water, any movement you make, your body outside the water will make. While in the water, everything you do is reversed. If you fire a massive attack upward, the attack will leave the water as a small one. Same thing when attacking a reflection, if you fire a large attack at the reflection, it will only be a minor wound." he said leaping toward Kenji with a smile. "Now that your familiar with the rules, lets begin my experiment." he said shunpoing infront of Kenji, stabbing forward with his right sword to hit his heart, and slashing at his stomach with his left.
Kenji smirked as he heard Kalmora's choice, they were instantly teleported, Kenji noticed that he was inside of a sort of...spectrum like tunnel, heading straigh down towards a bright light. The spectrum he was in had every color imaginable and pulse waves moving through it, every time a pulse wave would come through, all the colors would change order, or solidify to a single one, the fact that they were only inside for a couple seconds explains how fast this was occuring. Kenji was shot out of the spectrum and was falling down towards a large circular rock, watching Kalmora fall, he did'nt want to do the same, so, he unsheathed his swords and pointed straight towards the ground, when he landed, he was perfectly balanced, performing a handstand, using his swords as ground. Kenji leaped off of his swords and pulled them out of the ground, then listend to what Kalmora had to say, the rules were explained rather fast just before Kalmora had shunpo'd infront of him, sending two deadly attacks for him.
Kenji quickly jumped back a few feet, "You're so troublesome...", he said as he leaped forward, high above Kalmora and reeled back his sword, appearing to be launching an attack, but instead, just before impact, he shunpo'd behind Kalmora, crouching down and slashed his right sword at Kalmora's ankles and sending a slash straight down Kalmora's body with his left sword.
Kalmora dropped his right Katana and jumped upward as he did so, he landed on the hilt, allowing Kenji's sword to slam against it. Kalmora then flipped his left sword in reverse position, put his outward behind his back, and blocked Kenji's second attack. "You know, I was kidding about the rules of the water. The only rule about this place, is that when your in the water, everything...is reversed." he said leaping off his right sword and of the large flat rock. Kalmora landed on one of the smaller pillars but didn't stay long, he began to to flash step from pillar to pillar, getting further and further away from Kenji. "Don't forget I was the Vice-Captain of Division Two!" he called back to his old friend.
Kalmora finally found a pillar he liked, it was an inch taller than the rest. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws." he said preparing to strike. Kalmora saying the incantation along with the name spell...at Captain level will cause devastating effects. "Hado 33: Sokatsui!" he shouted. Before the actual technique was fired, an invisibal wave of force erupted from his palm in slow motion. It shattered two pillars next to him, then...he fired the blast. It erupted from his palm, traveling to Kenji at a dangerous speed. The width the blast was 100 meters: 300 feet. The height of the blast was 400 feet. "And don't forget, Kido was the first thing I researched into!" he called to Kenji.
Kenji smirked as he saw the full power of the kido that Kalmora had unleashed, it was moving fast, at its rate, it would reach Kenji in a matter of seconds, so, he had to think fast. First, he jumped high over the kido, watching the spell destroy most of the circular rock, raising a large cloud of dust while doing so, then he shunpo'd infront of one the rock pillars, not too far away from Kalmora. With his left sword, Kenji cut a clean slice across the pillar, then smashed the handle of his right sword against the rock, sending it flying towards Kalmora, he repeated this processs several times, until there was several rocks heading in Kalmora's area.
After he launched the last rock, Kenji shunpo'd high above all of the pillars, obtaining a vantage point on Kalmora, "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!, Bakudo #61!". As the six rods of light began to soar towards Kalmora, Kenji shunpo'd back down to the height of the pillars and hid himself behind one of them, stabbing his swords into it slightly to stay with it.
Kalmora grinned, his right Zanpakutou was still on the slab Kenji was previously on. By looking into the reflection of his right sword, he saw which pillar Kenji hid behind. Since the Kidou was faster than the rocks, it reached him first. Kalmora pulled a little black ball that was pretty squishy, he dropped it, crouched down, and leaped into the sky. When he did so, a body that looked just like Kalmora took his place. "Portable Gigai's rock!" he shouted, watching the rocks get closer. "Hmph." Kalmora aimed his palm at his right Zanpakutou, and the blue ribbon wrapped around the handle, shot toward Kalmora. Once in his hand, Kalmora gave one solid tug, causing his Zanpakutou to shoot toward him. It by passed the rocks, and entered Kalmora's hands.
Next, Kalmora swung both of his swords forward, the ribbons wrapped around each and every rock. This allowed Kalmora to change the direction of the slabs of rock, and thats just what he did. The hilt on Kalmora's right Zanpakutou opened up, and Kalmora pulled out 7 Capsules with blue liquid. When the slabs passed, he dumped the liquid on each one of them, drenching them in it. Kalmora then spun in circles, causing the rocks to do the same.
Once enough momemtum was built up, Kalmora allowed the ribbon to stretch. It shot around the pillar Kenji was, the rocks directly behind him about to crush him. If that weren't enough, Kalmora decided to trigger the explosive liquid by sending a charge of spirit energy down the ribbon, to the rocks...and thus, causing an explosion to erupt behind Kenji...and Explosion that once blew off the Primera's Espada arm and cause significant amount of damage...with only 5 of these liquid containers.
Kenji saw some of the blue liquid splash on his side of the rock and the ribbon come towards him, he began to jump off the rock, just before an explosion occured, catching up with him fast. He condensed his spirit energy, making a thin shield all around him, but it was'nt enough, the explosion pushed up against his shield, sending him flying, this only lasted a few seconds before the shield completely shatterd, allowing the fire to overtake him, scorching his body slightly. Kenji continued to fly through the air, eventually ramming straight into one of the pillars and crashing through it, in an attempt to re-gain his balance, he turned around and faced a rock, then pushed off of it, sending him high up in the air to the top of one of the pillars.
The pillar he had landed on, was far out of sight from Kalmora, which was a good thing, what he was about to do, took a little bit of time, he positioned his swords, pointing one up and one down, taking a deep breath, he concentrated on his rieatsu. The more he focused, the more and more his rieatsu grew, he began to glow a dark-green, black static surged around him, he closed his eyes and took another deep breath, more rieatsu surrounded him, the pillars around him began to deterriate, fallinf into mere dust, eventually, he was standing on nothing but air. When he opend his eyes, he could easily sense Kalmora's rieatsu, not much more than a couple miles away, he smirked, he could easily get there with a couple shunpo's, "Intimidate...KuraiHime". Seemingly from nowhere, an even larger amount of rieatsu surged out of Kenji's body, his two swords fused into a giant pole axe with a skull inbetween the split of the two bladesm all the pillars within a single mile instantly vanished into dust, "I hope your ready...Kalmora...", he mutterd.
Kenji grabbed ahold of his poleaxe and stared at it, connecting wit his zanpakuto's spirit, he knew before this fight, he would have to talk to her, to make sure she was ready. "KuraiHime...I have called to you...I need to make sure you are willing to fight this opponent, it won't be like any of our other fights, this world is different, much different", "Kenji...you idiot...of course I want to fight this guy, I hear what you hear, I see what you see, we are one, don't forget that". "Hm, alright then, follow my lead", "No...you follow mine", Kenji then shunpo'd over to Kalmora's area, while doing so, he increased the size of the blade his axe, making it nearly as wide as a skyscraper, "Alright Kalmora, here it comes!, Bounami!!". With that, a massive wave erupted from Kenji's axe, normally the blast is big, but with the increased size of his zanpakuto, the wave was much, much bigger, Kenji then turned and shunpo'd on a pillar next to Kalmora and swung his axe towards him.
OOC: Minami- This attack consists of three large, dark-green energy waves that are fired out of his sword, they start off being side by side, but eventually split up to seek the target wherever it goes. (Not used in this post)
Bounami- This attack is a variation of "Minami", but unlike Minami, this is a single, much more compact and powerful wave then Minami. (Used in this post)
Kalmora used his enhanced shunpo to get away from Kenji's axe attack, "Good, were getting more serious as the battle progresses." he said flying backwards, as he did so, he saw that Kenji had released a rather...large wave of energy. "Bend the World to your Will, Lunahime!" he shouted, slamming the hilts of his Zanpakutou together. Blue spirit energy swirled around him like a tornado, shooting into the clouds and the water. His swords began glowing blue, changing their shape until they fused into a large black pole with a large spear blade at the end of it. The tornado around Kalmora split apart, and Kalmora was seen twirling his spear rapidly.
In one clean sweep, he released a Wendeka Kenkai the exact same size, shape, and power level of Kenji's Bounami attack. The two attacks collided, and out of the smoke, came Kalmora holding his spead out with his right hand. He flew around Kenji's massive axe using his insanse speed, "Lets go for a swim!" he shouted, swinging his spear down at Kenji's chest. "My speed combined with the weight of my sword should be enough to blow us both underwater." he thought. "And with his axe in its larger state, its going to be difficult for him to counter attack."
As Kalmora's Wendekka Kenkai headed into Kenji's Bounami, he was already reverting his axe's size, by the time Kalmora had actually gotten to Kenji, it was half way there. When Kalora swung down his spear, Kenji's life seemed to flash by, he saw when he first came to rukongai, when he launched his first kidou spell, won his first fight and even, called his zanpakuto's name for the first time. This gave Kenji motivation to move on, it gave him the strength he needed to win the fight, last but not least, it gave him the feeling that he could predict Kalmora's attacks, he had been fighting him for years, he knew the way Kalmora fought and he was'nt going to give up. As soon as the blade got close enough to him, Kenji shunpo'd just out of the way to make Kalmora's spear stab through his captains haori, which made it come flying off him, but, Kenji was expecting that, he grabbed hold of what he could of the haori and began to twist it around his arm.
Once it got twisted enough, Kenji drifted over to the closest pillar around, which actually was'nt that far, while doing so, Kenji untangled his arm from his captains haori and got a firm grip on it, then he sliced a clean gap in the pillar, just enough for Kenji to stick the end of his captains haori in, which he did. The rock pillar then landed perfectly in position, putting the captains haori perfectly in place, the haori, was now twisted around Kalmora's spear and held in place by the pillar, "Minami...", he said while reeling his sword back and swinging it forward with insane speeds.
Kalmora grinned seeing that his spear was pinned, "Why did you pin my sword...with your haori moron? Your haori is a very thin fabric, my spear will go right through it..." he said slicing his haori apart. Kalmora rested his spear on his shoulder, closed his eyes and sighed. "You know, you can be really dimwitted someti-Holy Shit!" he shouted as he opened his eyes. Not to far from Kalmora, was three massive green waves of energy. Kalmora's spear began glowing blue, he then swung at the attacks with full force, but it wasn't enough. The attacks slammed into Kalmora's spear and began pushing him backwards. "I'm caught." he said as the attacks soon overwhelmed him.
A few minutes later, a voice could be heard. "Wendeka...Kenkai...!" shouted a bloody Kalmora through the smoke. A dark blue beam of energy erupted from the tip of Kalmora's spear. The blast was massive, shattering many of the pillars as it headed toward Kenji. The beam the split in half, causing it to go on either side of Kenji. It then grew taller, like to wall of energy moving extremly fast. The two walls of energy began to close in on Kenji. "The energy will slowly incinerate you if you can't escape...and the only way out is up, if you can get out before the walls kill you." he said grinning.
Kenji smirked as he saw the trick he used succed, sadly, it was'nt enough to keep Kalmora down, but somehow, he knew that, "Hahaha Kalmora....you suck, you honestly think your gonna win?....Fuck!, not good...", he said as he witnessed Kalmora's Wendekka Kenkai's rush towards him. "Kalmora, im sorry, I did'nt mean it!, c-cut it out!!", screamed Kenji as he began running away from the Wendekka Kenkai's. The fact was, these things were fast, too fast for him to run out of it's reach, 'Only one thing to do...', Kenji quickly turned to face Kalmora, by this time, the walls of energy were just about to envelope him, he met Kalmora's sight, and smirked. "Sotoku..", he mutterd just as the walls were colliding with him, a single layer of the shield formed, but by the time the next layer formed, the first had already began to crack, he had used it too late, it would save him from dying, but not from the full blast, by the time the last layer had began to form, the walls had enough energy of about two Wendekka Kenkai's.
The last layer shatterd, leaving Kenji wide open for the attack, luckily, Kenji had his axe ready, being hit by one of them was bad enough, he was not about to be hit by both. "Minami!", he shouted in desperation, one of the waves blocked the blast to his right, the other two had already began to soar towards Kalmora, he had a slight sense of satisfaction with what he as able to pull of in so little time, but that was short lived, due to the searingly hot energy ramming into his left side. He was instantly blown away, flying across the battlefield, to Kalmora, this would probably seem insanely fast, but to Kenji, it seemed like a million years per second, he layed there lifelessly drifting in the wind, in pain, he stared back at where he had been hit with one eye open, for a while, it seemed almost peaceful. His body was numb except for the slight tingling sensation he felt from the wind blowing on his back and forearms, "Well...this isn't so ba-", suddenly, he stopped drifting and all of the pain from the Wendekka Kenkai and something he had crashed into, came crashing down on his body.
He looked behind him, he had crashed right into a rock pillar, quite hard too, he could'nt move at all, he knew he was'nt immobilized or any huge problem like that, he could'nt move because the pain was simply too great and...he was stuck in the rock. The rock began to crumble apart, causing Kenji to fall in the water, when he did, his pain instantly dissapeared "A-Awesome!!!...wait...how is this even possible, it's not like this water has supernaturla healing abilies or anything, does it?". Kenji floated there in the water for a while, thinking on how his pain could just simply dissapear like that when suddenly, it hit him, "Of course...when your in the water, everything is reversed, including injuries, it seems, this is perfe-", Kenji stopped talking and looked around, he began to think to himself, 'somethings definetly off here, how the heck can I breath and talk underwater...'.
When Kenji realized this, he pretended to drown, yet nothing happend, "Alright Kalmora...you inner world wins in the freakyness competition, anyway, this is perfect! I have the upper hand now!", he shouted as he began swimming further and further away from Kalmora. His goal was to swim at least 7miles away from Kalmora, and focusing rieatsu into his arms and legs, he did that rather quickly, 'just keep swimming....just keep swimming..., he thought to himself the whole time until he reached destination. When he did he swam far under water, then began reducing the size of his axe to that of a toothpick, "I hope Kalmora was telling the truth about these damn rules....", he mutterd, "Kujo", despite the distance between him and Kalmora, he could feel his technique activate directly above Kalmora's spiritual pressure, and true enough, they were'nt small, as they would be if he was above water, they were infact, massive.
Sotoku-Kenji produces a massive shield that layers itself more and more, until it has a total of 10 layers. When the layers are finished, Kenjis only has a little bit of room to move around. Their is one additional technique to this shield, where the shield becomes a condensed sphere of energy as small as a pellet, then launches to become a massive blast that could easily match up to, or overpower a gran ray cero.
Minami- This attack consists of three large, dark-green energy waves that are fired out of his sword, they start off being side by side, but eventually split up to seek the target wherever it goes.
Kujo-57 dark-green spheres of energy that explode on impact, these are created directly above the opponent and fall downwards to them, having an after effect of a massive chain-reaction explosion. (Note: the size of Kenji's techniques are influenced by the size of his axe)
Background InformationHistory:Hikaru had been born into a royal family, he spent his life studying and mastering swordsmanship. His mother and father had thought him to be a prodigy, Hikaru did'nt care much for this at all. At the age of 13 he was sent away and hired to be a bodygaurd of the land's emperor, which he did for 10 years, until he grew tired of gaurding him and killed him in his sleep. After that he left the palace and started a normal life in Kagamino city, just east of Karakura town, he opend up a dojo to teach kendo, and raised a family. At the age of 35, he had finally finished his life plans and was now watching them come together, one night he was walking home from his dojo and saw his house was on fire, it was already being put out by neighbors, and firemen. He ran up to a fireman and asked,"What happend!?", the firemen just shook his head sadly and continued to put out the fire. Hikaru ran into the burning house, screaming for his wife and kids, but all he found were they're huddled up, scorched bodies, Hikaru fell to the ground in agony and began to scream, but no one could hear him. The combined sounds of the fire roaring, the powerful water hitting the walls, and the building collapsing drounded out his voice, he crawled over to his family, watching the building collapse in front of him, he closed his eyes. Hikaru opend his eyes, strangley not to find himself in his house, but to find himself laying in dirt. He no longer had the same clothes on, he was wearing tatterd, peasent's clothes, he got up, everyone was staring at him. An old lady walked over to him and asked," are you alright young man?", Hikaru stepped back slowly, bewilderd and confused," w-where am I?", the old lady just stared at him blankly, Hikaru screamed it again, "WHERE AM I!?", the people became startled, they walked back in their homes, then a strong voice spoke. "You are in rukongai, north district to be exact, and IT is part of the soul society". Hikaru turned to face the man, he was holding a katana and had a black and white haori on, "Rukongai? Soul society?", was all Hikaru had to say, the man chuckled, "come with me to seiretei, a soul with as much reiatsu shouldn't be hangin' around here anyway, i'll explain it as best I can on the way". Hikaru lived a rather long life as a shinigami, becoming division 5 captain while he did so. He had many friends and not many enemies but there was one day that made it all crashing down. A routine mission was sent out for division 5, he took only his third seat and vice captain, his vice captain, ironically enough was the love of his life, he would do anything for her. His third seat was his best friend in soul society, their mission was to head to hollow feeding grounds and report on any advances in their power. They should have checked earlier. The hollows had grown much stronger, most of them were adjuchas and a few of them...just a few had finally become vasto lordes. His third seat and vice captain had been killed, Hikaru killed the hollows, all of them, the adjuchas were easy for him but...the two vasto lordes had won, though they were dead, Hikaru was bleeding out. He lay there, motionless until he was forced into his inner world with hate, anger, and anguish. After being forced into his inner world, his zanpakuto spirit, he could see, was standing over him, scared not just for him but because something else was forming in his inner world. Hikaru eventually passed out and awoke hours later in the feeding grounds, his wounds were healed, the bodies of his vice captain and third seat were gone and he felt...different. He felt as if it had been years since their death, unaffected by it. He looked on his chest, the mask of a hollow was laying on it, he didn't know what to do, then, the other shinigami came, along with the head captain. As soon as the head captain saw what he had with him, he was banished from soul society with no explanation at all. After about a week of living in the human world, Hikaru found a group of people that knew what his power was and what he needed to do...somehow, he had become a vaizard. Zanpakuto Information Name:Awaihime Appearance:A normal katana with a brown wrap and a brown hilt/gaurd. Element:Light Spirit's Form:A women radiating in light, the only thing visible about her is her face and long brown hair. Spirit's Realm: Hikaru's spirit realm; at first glance seems to be a sea-side cliff. The cliff is extremely rocky and has an immense amount of fog covering it, although, as the fog clears; it reveals the place that Hikaru is currently in far below him. The cliff then shatters and sends him plumetting down wards to the room or area; everything about the area is reversed and his Zanpakuto Spirit awaits him. Shikai Incantation:Shimmer, Awaihime Shikai Abilitie(s)//Appearance: After saying the incantation, a bright light is released from Hikaru's zanpakuto, blinding anyone from seeing it. The light only lasts a few seconds, then fades and his Zanpakuto is revealed; the point to this is that Hikaru's zanpakuto has the ability to change into any weapon he sees fit, never revealing his true zanpakuto. Although, there is a record of its true appearence; the true appearence of his sword appears nearly the same as the katana before he released, except the entire blade is black except for the wrap and hilt/gaurd. There is also a brown dragon carved into the blade that runs in a spiral around the entire thing; the dragons head is near the tip and the tail is near the hilt. The ability of Hikaru's zanpakuto is(put simply) to enter reflections. Entering reflections puts him into a world where each reflection is like a window he can enter/exit; if someone were to just happen to look into a reflection that he is in, they would only see what they normally see, not Hikaru. No matter how weak the reflection is, Hikaru's abilities would still be at max power; Hikaru can send any attack through a reflection, whether it be just a sword wing or one of his main attacks, he can stay as much in or as much out of a reflection as he wants. There are a few weaknesses to Hikaru's ability; One, if the reflection is destroyed, Hikaru will come flying out of it and will have to recover his balance, leaving a huge opening for attack. Two, this is his main ability, if there are no reflections, he cannot use it. The last ability of Hikaru's zanpakuto is he is able to take reflections and turn them into dopplegangers of himself, these act just as Hikaru would and are not easily destroyed, the more reflections, the more dopplegangers(clones). Bankai Name(s):Nenshou-Awaihime Bankai Abilitie(s)//Appearance:The appearence and abilities remain the same in Hikaru's bankai. The only thing that changes in Hikaru's bankai is he gains one extra ability; this ability sends a large wave at his opponent, this wave looks almost like a wave of white light, afterwards, it surrounds them and temporarily brings them inside the mirror world. The advantage Hikaru gets with this is any attack-such as a swing of his sword from no matter how far away, will instantly come out of every direction, a million times with just one swing. [Hikaru's mask doesn't cover just his face, it covers some of the top of his head as well] Duration: 20 Cooldown: 10/22 Manifestation Appearance:Hikaru's inner hollow is a simple sillhouette of Hikaru. Manifestation Name:Yami Hollow Powers:Bala, Cero, Hierro Personality Change:Hikaru's personality changes to an unstable opposite of how he normally acts. This is caused by Hikaru taking all his n egative feelings and fueling them into his inner hollow, his inner hollow acts like a bersker whos' only sense is to seek and destroy. Secret/Special Ability:The ability of Hikaru's mask is the complete opposite of Hikaru without his mask. Instead of using light, Hikaru/Yami has shadows, the only technique that he keeps from Hikaru however is Migaku. Other abilities Yami has is the ability to enter or exit any shadow from any distance, he can also disperse himself into a mass of shadows when needed. His final attack[this marks the end of mask usage] is when he absorbs all the shadows in one area and harnesses it on his body[making him look like his inner hollow], he can use this to produce one massive attack or spread it out into many powerful attacks. Note: Yami's shadows look more like black flames than shadows.
