Clash Of The Elements

Natsu rested ontop of a sky scraper on the edge of Karakura, part of the building reached into Karakura and the lest lay on the edge of Kagamino city, it was a cold, silent night, almost everyone was asleep, nights like this...Natsu could relax, be whoever he wanted to be. He jumped off the building, floating just above the buildings surface, it was about a 30 second drop, or 40 stories high. At the last second, Natsu kicked off from the building, launching him a couple blocks deeper into Karakura, he soared through the sky, looking around for anything that would keep him busy. He found nothing. On a night like this, he decided to have some fun, he jumped to the streets below, onto the highway. He ran next to the speeding cars, matching their speed, smiling and waving at the people inside their cars, jumping from side to side.

Eventually he leapt ontop of a large 18-wheeler and layed ontop of the cargo, he was human, just with great powers. Any others with powers like him would laugh at his childness, It had been 4 years ago that he discoverd his powers but he'd never met anyone else like him, he only knew of their existance. Eventually, he jumped off of the truck and over to Karakura river, where he had grown up. Instead of sitting by the riverside, he walked on the rivers surface, he took a deep breath and began walking along the river...he wasn't going to sleep tonight.

Kalmora's eyes shot wide as he noticed the new spirit energy enter the area he was in. It was hot. He didn't like hot. The spiritual pressure seemed to be wild and crazy as well. "Could it be him?" he thought to himself as he slowly stood up. Kalmora grinned as the person behind the spirit energy came into view. He was a man with wild pink hair and redish eyes. He wore a scarf around his neck and seemed pretty built. The most distinct feature, was the tattoo that was on his right shoulder. "So, he is one. He is a Wizard...I thought I was the last of them. I guess the rumors were true, there are two others besides myself." he muttered as he walked out onto the river.

After walking quite a few feet, Kalmora was now in the center of the river, 300 feet from Natsu. He pounded his fist into his palm, keeping it straight. He then realed his hand back and swung forward. "Ice Geyser!" he shouted. As he did, the path infront of him exploded in an avalanche of ice that rushed toward Natsu. Kalmora quickly dashed to the left, turned the water he was on into ice so he could dash through it quickly. Once the rush of ice gets the Natsu, it'll erupt upward from beneath him, englufing him in an icy tower of destruction...assuming all goes well.

Gajeel was further down the river where after 3 hours of training he thought it was time to call it a day and grab some grub. While he threw on his wild though looking vest he diped his head in the water he began walking down the river gazing into it's beautiful waters. While he was walking he felt a faint spiritual pressure near by up the river and from the feel pretty strong. As Gajeel felt it he then slow began walking up towards the spiritual pressure to check it out. As Gajeel was headig up there he then suddenly felt another spiritual pressure heading towards the one he was after. With a sudden burst from the second spiritual pressure he knew they were fighting and quickly ran over there.

Natsu turned quickly, wincing at the mountain of ice speeding towards him, he turned his head, focusing on another target, apparently his attacker was using the mountain as a double whammy. If he blocked the attack, the attacker would come up behind up and be able to launch in a full frontal attack and if he focused on the attacker, that large mountain of ice would crush him to bits. Natsu smiled, holding out his hands, two straight-bladed daggers appeared, he turned to the attacker, waited until the last possible second before the ice hit him and vanished from sight. Hopefully his attacker believed in reality that he had been crushed by the attack, Natsu waited a few seconds, suspended in mid-air above his attacker, he examined his attributes. Obviously, his attacker had the power of ice, he was built and...had the same tattoo as him?

Natsu's eyes widend, he shot down towards the water, smashing the ice his attacker was using to move around quickly, he appeared directly behind him. Natsu knew exactly who this person was, and if he isnt an ally, it cant be risked to let this guy live. Natsu raised his daggers and sent a quick thrust with his daggers to the middle of his spinal cord, "the sweet spot". As if time had been slowed, Natsu spoked, hoping these would be the last words Kalmora heard, "Kalmora...I thought you were gonna be friendly." If the one dagger hit, Kalmora's life would be exstinguished, immideately, if not...Natsu was already prepared to launch the next 534 strikes, Kalmora had seriously picked the wrong target.

Kalmora's eyes widened when he realized Natsu wasn't caught. He felt a large amount of heat from behind him and tried to turn around. It was too late. Natsu's dagger sliced into Kalmora's spinal cord. Once life left Kalmora's body an instant explosion of super cooled spirit energy erupted outward. The entire area within a 100 yard radius instantly froze. The explosion generated was powerful enough to freeze a man in .08 seconds into nothing but a block of ice, leaving their body lifeless. In the center of the 100 yard radius frozen world, 100 meters into the sky, stood Kalmora with his hands shoved in his pockets. He gazed down into the frozen land and grinned. "Gajeel, why not show youself." he simply said, turning his head toward Gajeel's exact location.

Kalmora sighed as he turned his attention back to the frozen area. "Such a mess, my only clone destroyed. Ah well. It was for a good cause. We don't need weak Wizards in this world. If you aren't strong enough to survive then you deserve to die. Gajeel, you're next." mutted Kalmora, sending a cold glare at him.

Gajeel smiled crazy and sadistic at kalmora while he slowly steped out onto the frozen wasteland which was once a beautiful place. "Do you really think your gay little glare's can scare me kalmora if so then you must have gone soft in the head",Gajeel said. Gajeel gazed at the ice that was about to freeze a foolish little natsu,"hmph fool",Gajeel said. Gajeel gazed and with a swift move sent a hail of extremely long and thin poison senbon needles into the whole area numbering in the tens of thousands. As Gajeel was sending the sendon toward the whole area where natsu and everything else was he did a afterimage skill making it seem that he was still firing the senbon.

As Gajeel did his afterimage skill he appeared over kalmora above his head upside down. "Well you wanted me to come out so bring it",Gajeel said so faint and calm. As Gajeel said this he made a after image appearing the he was still there above kalmora. While the image still lingered above kalmora he sent his fist stright for throat that he could give a death blow.

It all happend so fast, Kalmora burst like a balloon, as soon as Natsu's dagger punctured his skin, a large eruption shot outwards, freezing everything in its path. Natsu didn't exactly know what to do at first, he only had a split second to think, or rather, a split second to react to the move. One of Natsu's first lessons was that in some cases, drop what you know and go with your instinct, in other words, 'don't think, act'. Natsu didn't have time to dodge at first, he wouldnt survive, not at this range. So, his survival instinct kicked in, Natsu's internal and external temperature quickly rose to over 1000 degrees farenheight, it didnt expel the icey explosion, but it buyed him a few seconds of time before his body iced over. Natsu used those couple seconds to create a massive spear, causing the end of the spear he was holding to shoot out in the opposite direction of the blast, this caused him to fly out of the blast zone with nothing more than a slight chill.

Natsu, out of breath heard a sharp, high pitched tone, he looked up to see thousands of senbon falling down in his area like rain, "You gotta be kidding me...", he mutterd, knowing the metal sage known as Gajeel had now enterd the battle. He wasn't afraid, senbon acting like this weren't very strong against someone like Natsu. He looked over at the tip of the spear, noticing it was frozen in it's place, he swapped that weapon for one his own creations, one of his inferno swords. A massive sword quickly appeared in Natsu's hand, the sword was completely coverd in fire and had a hook like formation at the end, he jumped straight through the senbon, raising the sword and causing it act as an umbrella. Once he passed though the metal rain, he shook the senbon off of his sword with one simple swing and created a 5' long spear in his free hand and threw it towards Gajeel.

The spear was like a guided rocket, it wouldn't stop until it hit its target or something else took it out. The way this worked is Natsu created a path of heat for it to follow, when the target would move, the path would extend, if something came it's way, the path would be alterd to evade it. "That should keep him busy", Natsu turned to Kalmora, "You shouldn't be so cruel, you think just because someone's weaker they dont deserve to live? If so...then you're a monster that deserves to be killed." Natsu's spritual pressure rose, cracking a thin layer of ice off his chest, suddenly he appeared a few feet infront of Kalmora, having already created an exact copy of the sword he made earlier into his left hand. He swung the swords in an 'x' formation, he war away enough for the massive swords to beless than a centimeter away from slashing Kalmora's chest, but after the swords crossed, two large waves of fire went flying out of the swords, burning an 'x' shape in the sky, the fire was hot enough to burn straight through Kalmora's skin...and incinerate the pieces.
